Q: I forgot to book a wax. Can I have it done with my nails?

A: You never know until you ask. If you need an extra treatments that you forgot to book, don’t be shy to ask for it. If there is no time, it will be booked into the next most convenient time slot for you.

 

Q: Do I have to chat during a massage?

A: Not for a second. To gain the best effects of the massage it is recommended that you don’t. However, if you feel like having some idle chatter during your treatment, that will always be accommodated freely.

 

Q: Do I need to remove my contact lenses for treatments?

A: Not all treatments require the removal of contact lenses; however for treatments such as eyelash tinting, lash extensions and facials it is recommended.

 

Q: What should I wear to a massage or body treatment?

A: Usually any outer clothing is fine. You will be required to strip down to your underwear for the massage itself. Don’t worry, the parts not being worked on will be covered.  If there are specific recommendations for a treatment, you will be notified upon booking.

 

Q: Do you have age restrictions on any of your treatments?

A: I provide junior manicures, pedicure, facials and back massages. These are for children under the age of 12. I do however restrict the age of waxing as a child can be exceptionally sensitive to this treatment.

 

Q: What if I am pregnant?

A: It is recommended that you get doctors consent, however if you inform me of your pregnancy, most treatments are safely performed on pregnant ladies. If you are unsure, just pop me a message and I’ll let you know.

 

Q: What should I do with my jewellery during treatments?

A: In the case of skin treatments and massages, it is recommended that earring, necklaces, bracelets be removed before the treatment. If you are doing your nails, only the rings need  to removed before the hand massage. You can keep these safely in your handbag until the end of the treatment.

 

Q: How many facial peels will I need to get results on pigmentation?

A: Everyone’s skin is different and some forms of pigmentation are easier to treat than others. Most people need between 4 and 10 facial peels. It is best to have a consultation and skin analysis so that we know the best course of action to take with you skin and home care regime.
